Security concerns
The problem with public Wi-Fi is that there are a tremendous number of risks that go along with these networks. While business owners may believe they’re providing a valuable service to their customers, chances are the security on these networks is lax or nonexistent.
Public Wi-Fi is not as safe as you think
One of the most common threats on these networks is called a Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attack. Essentially, a MitM attack is a form of eavesdropping. When a phone makes a connection to the Internet, data is sent from point A (computer) to point B (service/website), and vulnerabilities can allow an attacker to get in between these transmissions and “read” them. So what you thought was private no longer is.

That’s mean all data you send over the internet while using a public wi-fi might be stolen!
Man-in-the-Middle attacks
Web browsers have an indicator such a little gray lock icon or word “Secure” to display that website is “Secure” and supports HTTPS. That’s mainly because HTTPS is now considered the new baseline standard. Everything should be secure by default, so browsers will warn you that a connection is “Not Secure” when you’re accessing a site over an HTTP connection. But in most cases it has nothing to do with a real security. Even if a website uses HTTPS it doesn’t protect you from some well-known privacy attacks.
HTTPS Is Almost Everywhere.
So Why Isn’t the Internet Secure Now
